Overview

Registered Nurse (Med Surg) travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 09/21/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,683–$1,692 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is night, on a 2x3 schedule (12-hour shifts). This assignment takes place in a hospital setting on a 32-bed unit that serves adult and older adult patients with trauma cases and acute medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults and older adults on a Med/Surg unit, including trauma patients and those with acute medical needs
• Administer medications and monitor responses, including monitoring and managing IV therapies and heparin drips as ordered
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the designated electronic medical record system
• Monitor for patient safety, implement care plans, and respond to clinical changes per unit protocol
• Collaborate with physicians, RN peers, and other health professionals to coordinate optimal patient care

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Documented med/surg and telemetry (med/tele) experience
• Ability to work a night shift on a 2x3 schedule
• Comfortable caring for adult and older adult populations in a hospital setting
• Eligible to work in the United States and hold appropriate licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse
