Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Lincoln, Maine. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,991 to $2,089 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Travel assignment in a hospital setting through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments for medical-surgical patients.
- Develop and implement plans of care based on patient needs and physician orders; administer medications with accuracy and monitor responses.
- Document patient care activities and communicate status updates to the health care team; participate in bedside rounds and discharge planning.
- Provide patient and family education as indicated; coordinate with case management and multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment; ensure supplies and equipment are readily available and functioning; participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.

Requirements
- Current RN license in Maine or a compact state; Maine license or compact eligibility required
- BSN preferred
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Immunizations: Varicella (2 doses or titer); Hepatitis B (3 doses or titer or declination; declination only for HepB); MMR (2 doses or titer); Tdap; PPD 2-step or titer within past 12 months; Flu vaccine required during flu season
- Knowledge/skills: Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and communicate effectively; nursing assessment and care skills for all age groups
- Experience: Med-surg nursing experience preferred; willingness to work in a hospital setting and adapt to night shift
