Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $1,611 to $1,719. Shift is at night on a 2x3 schedule (12-hour shifts). Work on a high-acuity surgical trauma floor with EPIC EMR required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care for high-acuity surgical trauma patients on a med-surg floor
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and IV therapies, and respond to clinical changes
- Document accurately in EPIC; participate in nurse handoffs between ED and admitting units
- Coordinate care with Nursing Support Techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries on night shifts
- Ensure patient safety, pain management, wound care, and post-operative recovery parameters
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in med-surg or high-acuity surgical trauma care
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work night shifts on a 2x3 schedule; 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable with high-acuity specialty patients and a 5:1 patient ratio
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
