Overview
Registered Nurse (Med Surg) — travel assignment in Wisconsin. Start date: 08/24/2026 for 12 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,461–$1,489 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) with every weekend. Setting: rural 24-bed critical access hospital. This assignment is within a hospital setting and is suitable for experienced Med Surg RN travelers seeking a weekend-intensive schedule.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult med-surg patients, with telemetry as needed
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement care plans per physician orders
- Document in the electronic health record; coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
- Monitor patient status, respond to alarms, and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and arrange follow-up as indicated
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit policies; collaborate on care transitions
- Preferred experience with orthopedic, cardiac, pediatric, telemetry patients and Epic electronic health record

Requirements
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts and weekend coverage as part of the assignment
- Ability to work effectively in a rural hospital setting
- Med Surg and telemetry experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Willingness to participate in credentialing and orientation processes for the assignment
