Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Hermiston, Oregon, United States. Start date 08/03/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,026 to $2,113 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: Critical Access Hospital on a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and initiate the computerized Plan of Care on admission.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes; respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments under appropriate supervision; float to other departments as qualified; maintain patient confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds; deliver compassionate care and reinforce education related to treatment and recovery.
- Participate in required education for applicable programs (eg, DNV-related education) and support the hospital mission, values, policies, and procedures.

Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred; MSNL
- Licenses/ certifications/ registrations: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Experience: Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Certifications: CMSRN preferred
- Other: Ability to work night shifts in a CAH setting; agency nurses may be floated to other departments where qualified
