Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications per physician orders, and document findings and responses.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Assess and respond to changes in patient status; communicate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ongoing care coordination.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1+ year Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
