Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Burlington, Vermont. This travel assignment starts 06/29/2026 and runs for 16 weeks, with a 3x12 Night shift in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range is $2,520–$2,624 per week, with no guaranteed hours. The role requires Med/Surg expertise and experience in a teaching-hospital environment, with the opportunity to float to Med/Surg Tele as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the Med/Surg unit, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and care planning.
- Float to Med/Surg Tele and MS units as needed, following unit protocols and patient care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, document accurately, and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain high standards of infection control, safety, and quality of care; respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Complete nursing documentation in the electronic medical record and participate in discharge planning.
- Adhere to shift requirements, including no on-call duties and a schedule that includes at least every other weekend; travelers must work 2 of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day).

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; NIHSS must be completed prior to start.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; prior travel experience preferred.
- Teaching-hospital experience required.
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable).
- PCS or orthopedic certifications preferred.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and float to Med/Surg Tele as needed.
