Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date: 07/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,639–$1,725 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Days. This hospital setting features a high-acuity Med-Surg floor with surgical and trauma patients. EPIC charting is required for this role.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med-Surg patients, including post-operative and trauma cases.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, manage IV therapies, wound care, and basic telemetry as needed.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team; participate in handoffs with ED and admitting unit to ensure continuity of care.
- Document accurately in EPIC; follow unit protocols, safety, infection prevention, and quality metrics.
- Communicate with patients and families; support discharge planning and care coordination with case management.
- Respond to clinical changes promptly, escalating per protocol to maintain patient safety and comfort.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or ability to obtain per state requirements)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience in a high-acuity setting
- Ability to work the listed shifts; no block scheduling and no RTO
- Nursing degree from an approved program (education verified per standard hiring process)
