Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on the medical-surgical unit in line with physician orders and unit protocols.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy; monitor patient response and communicate changes to the care team.
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, document findings in EPIC EMR, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
- Monitor for clinical changes, respond to deteriorations, and coordinate with physicians, residents, and staff to adjust care plans.
- Support discharge planning and provide patient and family education to promote safe transitions.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards, and advocate for patient rights and comfort during your shift.

Requirements
- Current RN license with Nursys license verification; active status.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- EPIC EMR experience is required.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting; day shift with 12-hour shifts; no time-off requests during the assignment (NO RTO).
- Resume/Work history with no gaps greater than 60 days; Skills Checklist; References; Certification Card.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse care team and participate in fast-paced care environments.
