Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Salida, Colorado. Start date 07/13/2026 for a 12-week travel assignment. Weekly pay of $1,977–$2,014 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Setting: inpatient medical-surgical care at a Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Directly provide acute care and swing bed patient care as a team member following evidence-based practice.
- Assess health status through data collection and clinical evaluation.
- Deliver health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
- Administer therapies and treatments; perform delegation, supervision, and teaching as appropriate.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans; document assessments, interventions, and care coordination accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with ancillary departments and physician providers to address medical, social, and spiritual needs in a culturally and age-appropriate manner.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred.
- At least 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting (Med/Surg or equivalent inpatient care).
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Ability to work nights (3x12-hour shifts) and every other weekend; reliable for 36 hours per week.
- Eligible to practice in a Critical Access Hospital environment and able to provide care in an inpatient Med/Surg unit.
