Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) | Zanesville, Ohio, United States
Start date: July 20, 2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $1,874–$2,030 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week | Shift: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 pm–7:30 am)
This travel assignment places you on the Med/Surg spectrum with primary coverage on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and periodic float to other Med-Surg units. Night shifts with every-other-weekend requirements and no call.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult Med/Surg patients during night shifts, ensuring safety and comfort
- Monitor vital signs and telemetry, interpret rhythm strips, respond to alarms, and escalate concerns per protocol
- Administer medications and perform routine nursing procedures as ordered; document care in the EMR accurately
- Collaborate with the care team, including physicians, PCPs, and ancillary staff; support discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain unit competencies, including infection control, sterile technique, and safe patient handling
- Float to other Med-Surg units as needed, upholding high standards of care across diverse patient conditions

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
- Minimum 3 years of telemetry and/or step-down experience; ability to read telemetry and pass competency on day one
- Epic EMR proficiency required (refresher or 1:1 training not provided)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
- Team-oriented approach with strong communication and critical thinking skills
