Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg with telemetry — travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,069 to $2,198. Shifts are 12 hours on a rotating schedule. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry-capable med-surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes; administer medications and procedures per physician orders
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; update progress and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care; assume charge nurse duties as needed and may serve as a preceptor or committee member
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning; participate in transition of care activities

Requirements
- Current New York RN license (NY license only)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (D/E/N) with Every Other Weekend, holidays, on-call, and callback as needed
- Eligible to work in the listed travel assignment location
