Overview
Registered Nurse - Med-Surg, Fort Defiance, Arizona. This travel assignment starts on 07/01/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,153 to $2,184 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 3x12-hour Nights. Setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital with a Med-Surg unit serving adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and pediatric patients on a Med-Surg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and other health team members; document care accurately in the medical record
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes; participate in handoffs and care rounding
- Support discharge planning and family education; assist in prioritizing tasks and delegating appropriately
- May be required to float to other units or assist with additional routine duties as needed

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (US), eligible for practice in the assignment state
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years Med-Surg experience; 1 year pediatric experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and be flexible to work additional shifts, weekends, and holidays; may be asked to float to other departments as needed
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills
