Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg — travel assignment in a surgical center setting located in Tuba City, Arizona. Start date: 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 3x12 night shift schedule (1830–0700). This travel position is a temporary assignment in a surgical center that serves a regional population and provides a range of inpatient/outpatient services.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adults and older adults in a surgical center setting, following physician orders and standards of care
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and therapies, assist with perioperative and post-procedure care as directed
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient status; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Support patient and family education related to procedures, post-discharge plans, and symptom management
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and safety procedures

Requirements
- Active, valid nursing license to practice in any U.S. state (or territory)
- BLS and ACLS certifications; TCAR (Trauma Care After Resuscitation) certification within six months of hire
- NIHSS (Stroke Scale) certification within six months of hire
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute or sub-acute facility
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced surgical center environment and travel for a 13-week assignment
