Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Inpatient Oncology) in Cumming, GA. Travel assignment starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn a weekly pay range of $1,568–$1,666 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 12x3 schedule. Work setting: hospital-based Acute Care Inpatient Oncology within the Med/Surg service line.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult oncology inpatients on the Med/Surg unit
- Monitor vital signs, neurological status (NIHSS), pain, and clinical changes; respond quickly to deterioration
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders; manage IVs and fluids
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, discharge planning, and safety precautions

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain GA licensure)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS, ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg or Oncology inpatient care
- Education: current RN, with eligibility to practice in the listed setting
- Ability to perform in a hospital inpatient environment and work 12-hour night shifts
