Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Hilo, HI, United States. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,783–$1,926 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 Nights (1845–0715). Inpatient medical-surgical setting with unit-based Floats as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to adults across medical and surgical units as assigned
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor patient responses and document in the Meditech EMR
- Perform comprehensive assessments; develop and update care plans; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
- Float between Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and cardiovascular care on rare occasions
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety and comfort; assist with device management (e.g., wound vac, chest tubes) as trained; adhere to infection control and professional standards
- Complete unit-specific orientation and participate in ongoing training as requested

Requirements
- Hawaii RN license active by start date
- BLS certification; ACLS certification required (PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC preferred)
- 2–10 years of RN experience
- Ability to float to multiple units and adapt to different patient populations
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (1845–0715)
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to complete employee health processing
