Overview
Registered Nurse – LTC Supervisor (Part Time Evenings) Waterloo, NY. Start date 07/14/2026. 14-week travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Weekly pay range $1,058 to $1,103 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 2x8 evenings. This travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing – LTC, oversee the operation of the nursing units and provide clinical supervision to staff on assigned shifts
- Ensure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of nursing staff across multiple units
- Communicate identified unit problems to the Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager and collaborate to resolve them; refer to DON or Administrator for complex issues
- Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the DON and Administrator within the established scope, including off-shift and weekend coverage
- Foster professional collaboration with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and residents/families; model professional, courteous communication and teamwork
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and NYSDOH expectations; maintain focus on safety, dignity, and well-being of residents

Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure
- BLS certification through AHA or RQI system
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care nursing experience with supervisor/clinical lead responsibilities across multiple units
- Education: graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain confidentiality and professional standards
