Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
- Utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in care planning and delivery.
- Assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans, monitors outcomes, and adjusts as needed.
- Documents care accurately and communicates changes to the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Supports patient and family education and participates in discharge planning as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active California RN license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN) with ADN or BSN.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet the physical demands of an inpatient/long-term care environment.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in long-term care or related inpatient settings is preferred.
