Overview
Registered Nurse – Inpatient Rehab (neuro-focused) in Herrin, Illinois, United States. Start date: 06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,983 to $2,127 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, 7:00 pm–7:00 am (3x12-hour shifts). Setting: inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs and contribute to an individualized plan of care with the multidisciplinary team
- Implement and evaluate plans of care, providing explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons
- Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition; respond promptly to evolving needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed within scope, with unit practices noted (Heparin drips not used in this setting)
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records; meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
- Participate in continuing education and discharge planning; support a healthy, collaborative care environment

Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Willingness to work night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a 13-week travel assignment
- Experience in inpatient rehab or medical-surgical settings with exposure to a high-neuro population; stroke certification is a plus but not required
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and adhere to unit protocols
