Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Roswell, New Mexico. Working in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit on nights (3x12). Start date: 09/14/2026. Contract duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,029–$2,048 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This travel - temporary assignment supports first-time travelers and requires placement in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across the LDRP continuum (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum)
- Support vaginal deliveries and cesarean-related recovery per unit guidelines; manage couplet care for mother and newborn
- Perform newborn assessments, thermoregulation monitoring, and initial management of hypoglycemia; assist with phototherapy as needed
- Deliver breastfeeding and lactation support; assist with circumcision, episiotomy/incision care, and infant identification
- Triage obstetric patients, monitor maternal/fetal status, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services); participate in Rapid Response when required
- Document care in Epic; may float to similar units within scope as needed

Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in New Mexico; NM/Compact licensure accepted if obtained prior to start
- BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience; charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work nights in an LDRP unit and float to like units as needed
- Travel-specific requirements: fingerprints/background checks; locals not accepted within 50 miles; pre-approved time off (RTO) listed at submittal; max 4 days RTO auto-approved
