Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods.
- Monitor maternal vitals and fetal status, respond to labor progress changes, and support safe delivery.
- Administer prescribed medications and anesthesia as ordered; assist with labor management and operative deliveries as needed.
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams; document care in Epic EHR accurately and promptly.
- Support patient and family education, pain management, infection control, and discharge planning within a high-acuity obstetric unit.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license (or eligible for CA licensure) to practice in California.
- BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience in an acute care setting.
- Proficiency with or ability to learn Epic EHR for documentation and orders.
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and to manage care in a fast-paced obstetric environment.
