Overview
Registered Nurse - L&D travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for an 8-week contract. Night shift, 3x12s (36 hours per week) with weekly pay between $2,592 and $2,710. Work in a hospital setting on a labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in the L&D area according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor labor progress, administer medications as ordered, and document care accurately.
- Communicate effectively with obstetric team, anesthesiology, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
- Maintain patient and family education, advocate for patient safety, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license to practice in California.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Experience: Obstetric and/or labor and delivery nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and participate in a travel assignment.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
