Overview
Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (L&D) – Travel assignment based in Los Angeles, CA. Start date: 07/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,074–$2,178 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: Home Healthcare – Hospice. This float RN role supports L&D needs as part of a travel clinical team, with licensure and certifications required for practice in the state of California.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients during L&D float assignments, following physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, document labor progress, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and manage pain control per protocol
- Conduct ongoing assessments, maintain accurate charting, and ensure patient safety and privacy
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and hospice teams; escalate emergencies per policy and prioritize timely communication
- Educate patients and families on care plans, postpartum needs, and discharge planning as applicable

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice)
- AHA BLS Certification required
- AHA ACLS Certification required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card required
- BSN preferred; Acute care facility experience preferred
- Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting and participate in a float capacity for L&D
