Weekly pay: $2,175 to $2,310 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)
Setting: Hospital travel assignment

- Hospital-based obstetric care in a large maternity service

Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric nursing care in labor and delivery, with postpartum care as needed
- Monitor labor progression, fetal status, and maternal vital signs; respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications related to labor and delivery, including delivery meds and narcotics, per protocol
- Support and participate in births; circulate in OBGYN/OR as required; provide couplet care for mother and newborn
- Perform IV insertion and routine postpartum nursing tasks; maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff; adhere to patient safety and quality standards
- Manage supported nurse-patient ratios: L&D 1:3; postpartum 5–7, adjusting care as needed

Requirements
- L&D nursing experience; postpartum experience preferred
- Proficiency in IV insertion
- Ability to circulate in OBGYN/OR and provide couplet care
- Comfortable caring for patients across L&D and postpartum units within a hospital setting
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts on a travel assignment
- Strong clinical documentation, teamwork, and safety mindset
