Overview
Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (L&D) — Lodi, California, United States. This travel nursing assignment starts on 08/01/2026 and runs for 8 weeks. You will earn $2,444–$2,546 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, 3 per week (3x12). Work in an inpatient obstetric care environment, delivering coordinated maternity and newborn nursing care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients and newborns according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments per orders, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, delegating tasks as appropriate and ensuring safe, patient-centered care.
- Coordinate care across disciplines (physicians, ancillary staff, and support services) to optimize outcomes and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Document care plans, progress notes, and handoffs accurately; communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity.
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; participate in quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
- Ability to work a day shift schedule in a travel assignment and adapt to new units quickly.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current licensure; appropriate clinical competencies for obstetric care.
- Willingness to participate in credentialing and onboarding processes for a temporary assignment.
