Responsibilities
- Serve as Nurse Lead in Labor and Delivery, collecting relevant data and analyzing assessment information to identify diagnoses and care needs.
- Develop and implement a care plan with prescribed interventions to achieve patient outcomes; coordinate care delivery and promote a safe, healing, and humane environment.
- Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust plans as needed; participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and an interprofessional care team; provide health information and education to patients, families, and team members.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality care.

Requirements
- Active California registered nurse license or eligibility to practice in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience in labor and delivery or obstetric care preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN (or higher) degree preferred.
- Vaccination requirements: all associates must be up to date with required vaccinations; exemptions may apply. E-Verify participation may be required as part of the hiring process.
