Overview
This travel opportunity is for a Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in San Luis Obispo, California. The assignment starts 06/08/2026 and runs for 13 weeks on a nights shift (3x12). Responsibilities
- Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation; analyze assessment data to inform diagnoses and care issues
- Develop and implement a care plan with prescribed interventions to achieve outcomes; coordinate care delivery
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and treatment team to provide safe, healing care and promote a healthy environment
- Educate patients, families, and team members; provide clear health information and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members; participate in ongoing evaluation of progress
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
- Current California RN license to practice
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS may be preferred but is not specified)
- Ability to work nights and participate in a travel assignment
- Vaccination as a condition of employment per organizational policy; E-Verify participation may be required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN acceptable)
