Overview
Labor & Delivery RN (L&D) – Pocatello, Idaho. This travel, temporary assignment starts 05/25/2026 for several weeks and requires 3x12-hour night shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $1,917 to $1,958 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. You will work on a teaching hospital Labor & Delivery unit with an estimated 200–300 births per month.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, including high-risk antepartum and obstetrical triage needs.
- Triage obstetrical patients, monitor fetal status, and assist with IUPC placement/calibration as needed.
- Assist, circulate, and recover for Cesarean deliveries; perform sterile vaginal exams and support intraoperative procedures.
- Administer medications and orders such as magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, anticoagulation, and antihypertensives.
- Maintain central venous access (CVC/PICC) care and uphold isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
- Document care in the charting system and collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and nursing colleagues to coordinate patient care.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license ( Idaho or eligible under the assignment’s licensing rules)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Able to work in a high-volume, teaching-hospital setting and perform night-shift duties
