Overview
Travel Registered Nurse – Infusion, Rochester, NY. This 13-week travel assignment is in a hospital infusion unit supporting outpatient stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patients. Start date: 07/06/2026. Weekly pay range: $2,234–$2,395 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 10-hour shifts, with option of 4x10s or 3x9s per unit policy; weekend and holiday rotations may apply. The role focuses on delivering chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions, in a fast-paced hematology/oncology outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T cell infusions to outpatient infusion patients.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions; recognize and respond to infusion-related adverse events per protocol.
- Provide patient education on infusion procedures, medications, potential side effects, and post-infusion care.
- Coordinate care with the transplant/cellular therapy team, pharmacists, and other clinicians; document accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain telemetry monitoring as indicated; manage alarms and ensure patient safety during high-acuity therapies.
- Adhere to aseptic technique, chemotherapy safety guidelines, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York
- Oncology Certification (ONC) required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- Hematology/Oncology experience required (2+ years)
- Telemetry experience
- Ability to work in an outpatient infusion and stem cell transplant/cellular therapy setting
- Availability to participate in weekend/holiday rotations as required by unit policy
