Overview
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in a rural, critical access hospital setting in Reedley, California. Start date 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,007 to $2,138 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. This assignment is in an acute care environment serving a regional community in California’s Central Valley.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ER patients following established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, assess needs, and participate in developing and implementing an appropriate care plan.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members, supervise nursing staff as needed, and ensure a safe and healing environment.
- Administer treatments, monitor patient response, document care in the electronic record, and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families, provide timely health information, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and vaccination requirements.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; CPR acceptable per policy
- ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care/ER settings; ER/professional experience preferred
- BSN preferred; minimum requirement is a current nursing license with ability to work in the listed setting
