Overview
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room — Reedley, California. This travel, temporary assignment runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours and a night shift schedule. Start date is 09/21/2026. Weekly pay ranges from $2,025 to $2,139, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The setting is a rural, critical access hospital environment requiring acute care ER experience and EPIC charting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to ER patients, including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Develop and implement a patient care plan using established standards and the nursing process.
- Administer medications, interpret clinical data, and respond to changes in patient condition with critical thinking and appropriate interventions.
- Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary staff, and family members to ensure safe, effective treatment and timely discharge planning.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and communicate updates to the care team.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels when assigned, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Education: BSN preferred
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required; Basic Life Support as required by policy; ACLS and PALS (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS) required
- Experience: Minimum two years of recent ER or acute care experience
- Special requirements: EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital ER setting on a travel assignment, including night shifts
