Overview
Registered Nurse – ER, located in Saratoga Springs, New York. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 16-week travel assignment in a hospital unit supporting Palliative/Stroke/Tikosyn patients (20 beds). Weekly pay ranges from $2,260 to $2,414 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7P-7A and 7A-7P with night/day rotation). No block scheduling. This assignment includes weekend coverage as part of the contract and requires holiday availability. The position requires float to other units as needed and charges responsibilities with training provided. Charting is in EPIC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult patients in the Palliative/Stroke/Tele unit, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and symptom management.
- Perform accurate and timely documentation in EPIC; update clinical records and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, including discharge planning and patient education.
- Float to other units as needed and participate in charge nurse duties; maintain flexibility to meet facility needs.
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and comfort measures; respond to changes in patient condition and emergency situations as appropriate.
- Support compliance with unit policies, holidays coverage, and scheduling requirements per contract.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical or telemetry units
- EPIC charting experience
- Willingness to float to other units and to assume charge nurse responsibilities; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of U.S. work experience required
- Flexible schedule and ability to work nights; contract includes holiday coverage and weekend shifts as defined
