Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel) in Fairfield, Iowa. Start date 08/28/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,230 to $2,391. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide total patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs
- Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards
- Monitor, reassess, and respond to ER emergencies; administer medications and treatments; document and communicate patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and maintain orderly patient flow
- Maintain accurate, complete electronic medical records; adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety policies
- Advocate for patients and families during acute events and support timely discharge planning and education

Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license (active)
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience preferred, but not required; ER or travel nursing experience a plus
- Ability to meet pre-employment health, credentialing, and compliance requirements (immunizations, background checks, drug screen, licensure verification, and related items) prior to start
