Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Utica, NY. Start date 09/28/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $2,375–$2,447 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 12-hour evenings. Work setting: hospital emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department for adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients
- Triage, assess, stabilize, and manage ED presentations, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies, and manage drips and meds per protocols; operate specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun as required
- Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs and ECGs, prepare for diagnostics and procedures, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team
- Document thoroughly in the EPIC electronic medical record; support discharge planning and patient/family education
- Float to related ED areas as needed and maintain safety and adherence to department guidelines

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (NURSYS verification with ACTIVE NY license)
- 2+ years of ED experience with some pediatric exposure; documented travel experience required
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- EPIC EMR experience
- Valid driver's license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (absence/time-off) must be included at time of submission
- Up-to-date resume reflecting ED experience and travel assignments
- Ability to work in a dynamic ED environment and float to other ED areas as needed
