Overview
Registered Nurse – ER, travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,376 to $2,506 per week. Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12). Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for patients from newborns to geriatrics
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and IV therapies, and assist with procedures as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other care team members to manage patient flow, admissions, and discharges
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Ensure patient safety, infection prevention, and appropriate discharge instructions; support family education as needed

Requirements
- Active RN license (current, unrestricted) to practice in California or appropriate state for practice
- 1 year of ER or acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency setting
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
- Eligibility to work in the United States and participate in a travel assignment
