Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Marysville, California, United States. 8-week travel assignment starting 08/10/2026, 36 hours per week on days with 12-hour shifts (3x12). Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ED patients across age groups as assigned, using the nursing process to inform care plans aligned with the medical plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to coordinate timely assessment, treatment, and disposition of patients.
- Conduct triage, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatments per protocol and physician orders.
- Manage patient and family teaching, discharge planning needs, and ensure appropriate referrals and follow-up.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to nursing staff based on competence and scope of practice; maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and maintain a safe, efficient ED workflow.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California
- Experience in emergency department or acute care settings preferred
- Ability to work days with 12-hour shifts and meet the demands of a high-volume ED
- Competent in collaborating with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Ability to complete agency credentialing and onboarding processes
- Willingness to work a travel assignment in Marysville, CA
