Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Assess patient conditions, plan, implement, and evaluate care; document outcomes
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in care delivery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for adverse effects and respond appropriately

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- BLS certification required
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment of 8 weeks
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
