Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Hilo, Hawaii, travel temporary assignment starting 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,812–$1,932. Shift is Nights, 3×12-hour shifts. Work setting is a hospital-based ER. Orientation occurs during the first week; arrival the Thursday before start is required for health clearance. This assignment carries no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy ER, including initial assessment, triage, monitoring, and timely escalation as needed.
- Administer medications, start IVs, perform basic procedures, and assist with urgent and emergent interventions under physician and protocol guidance.
- Document patient status and care in the electronic health record; communicate clearly with the care team, patients, and families.
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate patient flow and disposition.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and comfort; prepare patients for procedures and transport to next care areas as appropriate.
- Respond to emergency events, participate in rapid assessment, and support the team during high-volume periods.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license by the start of assignment
- Emergency Department nursing experience preferred in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work Nights on a 3×12-hour schedule
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to complete employee health clearance
