Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER), Needham, Massachusetts. This travel - temporary assignment starts 07/06/2026 and runs for 8 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,415 to $2,522 per week. Guaranteed hours are 72 hours biweekly. Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts. This is a non-local travel assignment; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the work site.

Responsibilities
- Triage and initial assessment of ER patients; stabilize and initiate appropriate interventions
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and monitor patient responses; manage changes in condition
- Interpret data from monitors, labs, and imaging; escalate care as needed and coordinate with the medical team
- Perform procedures within scope of practice, assist with emergency procedures, and support rapid patient throughput
- Document care accurately in the EMR and participate in discharge planning and family education
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and readiness for codes or trauma activations; collaborate with multidisciplinary staff

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license at time of submission; temporary license acceptable
- BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or ENPC required
- TNCC preferred; MAB preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER/nurse experience
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR or similar system preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ER environment and rotate to 12-hour night shifts
- Must be located more than 50 miles from the duty site (non-local travel)
