Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in King City, CA. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks, nights shift, in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, initial assessment, vitals monitoring, and treatment administration
- Manage rapidly changing patient conditions, initiate life-saving interventions, and escalate care as needed
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Document care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and participate in shift handoffs

Requirements
- Active, unencumbered California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of ER or acute care nursing experience
- Ability to work nights and participate in a travel assignment
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Eligibility to complete facility credentialing and onboarding process
