Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Plentywood, MT. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,793–$1,886. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: Nights. Work setting: a 19-bed rural, critical access facility providing inpatient, outpatient, swing bed, and emergency services. This assignment focuses on fast-paced, patient-centered care across multiple settings within the ER and related inpatient/outpatient areas.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and through inpatient/outpatient swing bed settings
- Perform accurate initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and timely triage of emergent and non-emergent conditions
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and assist with procedures per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document care, assessments, and interventions in the electronic medical record; ensure continuity of care during transitions
- Educate patients and families, provide discharge planning and follow-up instructions as appropriate

Requirements
- ER experience required
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Competence to provide care across ER, inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed settings
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements and pass background checks as part of the assignment
