Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; respond rapidly to changing patient conditions.
- Administer medications, monitor effects, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; coordinate care with physicians, techs, and other disciplines.
- Document care in the electronic medical record; communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Support patient and family education and participate in discharge planning as appropriate.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control practices, and quality and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligibility to practice in the state)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ER nursing experience preferred
- ADN or BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
