This opening is for a travel assignment in a fast-paced ED that treats a diverse adult population and supports high patient flow, including potential boarder patients. ER experience is essential; the unit notes that this site is not able to support first-time travelers.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care to adult ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and ongoing treatment decisions
- Administer medications, perform and assist with emergent interventions, and interpret telemetry as indicated
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient flow and ensure patient safety
- Document care accurately and in real time; participate in on-call/charge responsibilities as assigned
- Support boarder management and contribute to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Adapt to rotating shifts and potential unit-wide float requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards

Requirements
- Active RN license in New York (NY)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of ED experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Prior travel ER experience required
- ER assignments may not support first-time travelers

Education
- Nursing degree (RN) as required for licensure in NY
