Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to diverse age groups using the Nursing Process within department standards and ER-specific guidelines.
- Assess patients, establish care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes; document care accurately.
- Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of tasks to other staff and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and facility policies governing care delivery.
- Respond to emergencies, manage acute changes in patient condition, and ensure smooth handoffs during transitions of care.

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing and eligible to practice in the listed setting.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and NRP must be active prior to the contract start date; if not active, a course must be booked by Clinical Orientation.
- ER nursing experience preferred; travel nursing experience is advantageous.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN degree such as ASN or BSN).
- Ability to work in a hospital ER environment and participate in a rotating/night schedule as required.
