Overview
Registered Nurse - ER (Emergency Department) needed for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date 06/22/2026 for a multi-week engagement in a hospital setting. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week with 12-hour shifts. Weekly pay: $2,260 to $2,412 per week. This travel assignment requires ED experience and an active New York RN license; responsibilities may include floating to related areas as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and intervention.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, initiate resuscitation and life-saving interventions as ordered.
- Monitor for changes in patient condition, recognize decompensation, and respond to emergencies in a timely, composed manner.
- Document care in the designated EMR (EPIC) and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate patient care and disposition.
- Participate in patient throughput, discharge planning, and referrals as appropriate; comply with infection control and safety protocols.
- Float to supported ED areas as needed and maintain professional standards for patient and family communication.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (NURSYS verification)
- 2+ years of ED experience; some Pediatric experience preferred
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC is required
- EPIC EMR experience
- Travel experience is required; must live within 75 miles of the assignment or be willing to travel; local candidates eligible for local rate
- RTO (time off) must be included at submission
