Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group of patients according to current standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care, ensuring thorough charting and timely communication of patient status.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and manage IV therapy and related equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of levels of nursing staff; provide guidance and supervision as needed to support patient flow and safety.
- Maintain infection control practices, ensure patient safety, and support transitions of care across disciplines.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (current and in good standing)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
