Responsibilities
- Serve as a working supervisor/charge nurse for ER and Med Surg, overseeing patient care during the night shift.
- Provide direct patient care in ER and Med Surg as needed, including assessment, monitoring, and therapeutic interventions.
- Lead and coordinate nursing staff on the unit, assign duties, and ensure continuity and quality of care across shifts.
- Triage patients, respond to emergencies, and participate in code or rapid response activities as required.
- Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and compliance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
- Communicate with physicians, ancillary teams, and leadership to optimize patient flow, bed management, and safety.

Requirements
- Active RN license (state not specified in notes)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- OB/Newborn stabilization education/training is encouraged to submit if available
- ER and Med Surg nursing experience; prior supervisory/charge nurse experience preferred
- Ability to work night shift in a hospital setting
- Willingness to participate in a 16-week travel assignment
