Overview
Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse) – Travel assignment in Sistersville, West Virginia. This eight-week engagement starts on 08/31/2026 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Work setting: skilled nursing facility. This role emphasizes clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and coordination of resident care in a nursing environment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing leadership for the facility’s clinical operations, ensuring high-quality resident care.
- Oversee staffing, supervision, and performance of licensed and ancillary nursing staff; foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture.
- Develop, review, and implement care plans; monitor and adjust clinical protocols to meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., OBRA, CMS) and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Lead quality improvement efforts, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and support services.
- Oversee admissions, assessments, care planning, and discharge planning to support safe transitions of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in West Virginia
- Leadership or management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Ability to supervise nursing staff, coordinate scheduling, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing facilities, and strong emphasis on patient safety and quality care
- Effective communication and team-building skills; ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to participate in a travel nursing assignment and work the designated shift in a skilled nursing environment
