Registered Nurse – CVICU travel assignment in Lodi, California. The role supports a Short Term Acute Care Hospital CVICU. Start date is 07/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care to adult CVICU patients following cardiac procedures
- Monitor hemodynamics, manage lines and devices, and titrate medications per protocol
- Assist with ventilator management and post-operative respiratory care as needed
- Perform frequent patient assessments, document findings, and contribute to care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusion, and therapy services) to optimize outcomes
- Ensure adherence to infection control standards, patient safety protocols, and accurate charting

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (state of assignment)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH required
- CVICU or critical care experience preferred; strong float or ICU background considered
- Education: BSN preferred; ADN with relevant CVICU experience considered
- Ability to work in a high-acuity CVICU environment; comfortable with night shift and 3x12 scheduling
