Overview
Charge Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care / Nursing Home – Bangor, ME – Start 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks – guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 3x12-hour day shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,849 to $1,902. Local travelers are accepted, with a $10/hour lower local rate applied to local candidates.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct total nursing care for an assigned group of residents during a shift, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide back-up administrative support in the absence of the Director of Nursing and act as a resource for unit staff.
- Lead and collaborate with the nursing and ancillary team to ensure care aligns with facility policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in resident/family teaching, discharge planning, and updates to the care plan; promote patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Monitor for safety and quality, oversee medication administration, and document care accurately.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Maine or a valid compact (multistate) license
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (2-year college)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Certification: BLS required
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting and to fulfill a 3x12-hour day shift schedule
- Travel eligibility: local rate considerations apply for local residents per program rules
